“This book, The Relentless Tenderness of Jesus, was one of the first books I read when I began my new journey into real faith. It was during the time when ____ & I were separated. If you haven’t read the book, I highly recommend it, but it must come with a warning – it will shatter much of what we grew up believing (at least it did for me) – and change everything about faith and what it means to live as a “Christian”. Since then I have read several other books by Brennan Manning and his writing have impacted my life in many ways. Highly recommended.”

____________, thanks for sharing…..um, there’s been a lot of growth in that area for me personally and wake up calls especially this year and I am working to be no longer bound by the legalistic, moralistic BS that passes for “church” and “Christianity” these days to be quite frank……..my favorite book of the year was “The Shack” and I could so, so identify with “Mack”.
