Along with polyphenols, this is probably one of the most significant discoveries the research community has come up with for years:
There is a free trial available here for those south of the 49th but I’m not sure about what is available to us Canucks yet…
Living longer is under the, “Ok, whatever,” category for me but the ability to be clear, active and raising hell right to the end, now THAT is interesting…

Hi Cal,
I’m confused. And a little skeptical. I Note the video has an over lay of visit wiki75.com to order free sample. That makes me skeptical. Seems like just another ad by another company to get you to order product and/or collect data about consumers.
My confusion stems from your previous blog post about scientific research and how it’s all basically a crock. Then – by this blog post – seems to speak in support of it????
There’s a bit of a dichotomy here for me.

Hi Kathy,
Oh, I’m not against science anymore then I’m against faith — just really cautious about placing what science or religion says in reverential esteem and checking your brains at the door. Science is just done by people — who don’t shimmer in the dark anymore then your average Reverend…
The patent for this was just sold for almost unimaginable amounts of money. There are some big players out there who have tested and retested this stuff — and they see a gold mine there. (I do tend to trust greed a little more…)
It’s already been seen to work at lower levels in people just fine. lower levels do the same in test animals. Higher levels do even more in those test animals and there’s no reason to suspect they will not in people as well…
The work here has been going on for so long that it’s getting impossible to ignore anymore.

Hi Cal, thanks for clearing up my confusion.
What, pastors don’t shimmer at the door – I’m shocked
Ok how do I make the big bucks off this? Gotta pay better than what I’m doing now~

Hi Kathy,
Faith plus a power system = religion and abused people.
Research plus a power system = group think and abuse of other thinkers.
It’s not faith or scientific research that is the problem. It’s giving people control of it in such a way that they can build a hierarchy, push their agendas and squash those who disagree with them.
When you give scientists this power, they cease to do science and start to simply be agents of propaganda. That doesn’t invalidate the pursuit of knowledge — it just means every person has to have an EXTREMELY healthy suspicion for the conclusions of scientists. (Or for that matter, religious leadership — and counselors.)

While I do not want to “go gentle into that good night” and “rage, rage against the dying light” [Dylan Thomas – entire poem here http://www.poets.org/viewmedia.php/prmMID/15377
I really think it’s okay to age gracefully. As opposed to chasing the latest pill, potion, etc. just to prolong the inevitable. This world is truly not my home, why would I want to spend any more time here than necessary?
OTOH, if something actually helps you stave off various diseases so that you can enjoy your time here (as much as believers can) then I’m okay with that.

Hi Kathy,
I totally hear you. The real draw in both of these is that the years you do have are good ones — not spent in a wheelchair somewhere waiting to die because you are in so much pain from the cancer that is eating you alive or a heart that barely works.
The flip side of this (that I also have to consider) is whether or not 105yrs of age would really seem that bad if I could still be rollerblading at 99…
