Living Waters is the rhema word of God the Father to those who have been lost in sexual and relational brokenness. It is not just a good set of teachings, a well-organized program or a collection of written material with special insights into the human condition. It may be one or all of these things to some people. But to those of us who have struggled for years with unmentionable sin, an unforgivable past, or persistent memories or obsessive behavior, it has been nothing less than the rhema word of God

Just like the Word, the Incarnate One, Living Waters could only have been begotten from the heart of the Father who says to each one of his children, "My son, my daughter, you are with me always, and everything I have is yours." Grace wrapped up in truth, truth delivered with grace is the essence of this program: Grace and truth combined to deliver the rhema word that sets the captives free.

But the Incarnation was more than the rhema word spoken by God. It was the rhema word made flesh. So it is with this manual. It is not meant to be the last, definitive word on Living Waters. Rather, it is the container of the word, the structure through which God's word has the freedom to speak, confront, heal, comfort, and transform.
